Former B2K frontman Omarion established his solo credibility with O, a funky, satisfying debut that showed the singer had a stylistic range that extended beyond the typical boy-band clichés. Omarion's sophomore effort, 21, builds on the advances of its predecessor, delivering a host of bouncy, energetic jams balanced by expressive, heartfelt slow numbers. There's still a fair bit of sexy, loverman material ("Midnight," "Just That Sexy"), but the best cuts on the album, like the booty-motivating opener, "Entourage," show that Omarion is as much about abandon on the dance floor as in the bedroom. minimize
