Busta Rhymes is hip-hop's wildest, most energetic MC. As a lyricist, he is not afraid to experiment, and his creativity is such that he comes across not just as a rapper, but as a performer. His second solo album WHEN DISASTER STRIKES adds to a long resume, which includes his work with Leaders Of The New School, cameos on some of hip hop's hottest remixes (Craig Mack's "Flava In Ya Ear" and A Tribe Called Quest's "Scenario"), and even movie credits for HIGHER LEARNING.
The first single, "Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See" is Busta at his best, with production suited for the dance floor. Other tracks show Busta's versatility; "Dangerous" is an off-beat rhyme, which incorporates a sample from an old commercial ("This is serious/we can make you delirious"), and "One" links Busta with Erykah Badu for a smooth, jazzy feel. Throughout the years, Busta has kept up with the times, and even WHEN DISASTER STRIKES, Busta Rhymes will still be standing. minimize
