This live collection of Christian worship music is uplifting in ways both spiritual and musical. From the opening chords of David Crowder's "O Praise Him" through the thumping drum intro to Matt Redman's "O Come Let Us Adore Him" (yes, the Christmas carol) to the ringing tones of Steve Fee's U2-esque "Revolution Cry," SACRED REVOLUTION is an exhilarating non-stop journey through contemporary praise-rock. But it's not all hard-rocking Christianity--Christy Nockels's "Knees to the Earth" is a humbling reminder of the redemptive power of prayer, while Candi Pearson's "Sing to the King" is a rousing, moving chorus of exaltation.
