The band coins a new phrase with the aptly titled "Church Punks," a fitting description of their marriage of rock attitude and deep faith. Guitarist Tyler Burkum steps up to the microphone for lead vocal duties on "Pierced" (with a sweeping gospel chorus backing him up) and "Leaving Ninety Nine," showing that he's more than up to the task. While 2001's Grammy nominated LIFT paid musical tribute to the band's devotion to both rock legends U2 (an obvious influence) and their devoted faith, WORLDWIDE shows Audio Adrenaline leaning more towards being themselves, which is more than one could pray for. minimize
