Engineers: Roberto De Castro, Dacy Rodrigues, Toninho Silva. Recorded at EMI-Odeon Studios, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil in 1978. Originally released as 2 separate LPs. In this Abbey Road remastering, the double-CD Clube Da Esquina 2 evidences details unsuspected in the original vinyl, which is from 1978. The last album recorded for EMI finished the job begun with Clube Da Esquina, crystallizing a group of friends/composers from the Minas Gerais state and a repertoire of tender classics that deeply touched the Brazilian soul. "Nascente," "O Que Foi Feito Devera" (shared by Milton Nascimento with the pungent vocals of Elis Regina), "Tanto," "Mistérios" (with Joyce's violao), "Maria, Maria," and "Que Bom Amigo" are testimonies of a certain period of Brazil's history told with expressiveness and passion. ~ Alvaro Neder minimize There are currently no sellers for this product But we can email you when it's available!
