This high-definition projector will also turbocharge your favorite sports, TV shows, and video games. The heart of the IN76's imaging "engine" is a DLP? (Digital Light Processing) chip that delivers sharp, clean HDTV resolution with a native display rate of 720p (1280 x 720 pixels). As is typical for projectors, there's no built-in tuner, but the IN76 can accept HDTV signals from a separate HDTV tuner. Advanced video processing upconverts all non-HD video signals to match the projector's native resolution. The projector has two light output settings: Standard and High. If you want to project a really big image, the High lamp setting will boost brightness by about 20%. But the Standard setting is plenty bright for most situations, with the added benefit of significantly extended lamp life. Many projectors still require lots of tweaking and adjusting to look their best, but InFocus models are known for having accurate, neutral color right out of the box. The IN76 comes pre-calibrated to the video broadcast standard of 6500 Kelvins. Colors are dead-on and deeply saturated, while skin tones are pleasingly natural. The IN76 has a total of 5 video inputs, including composite video and S-video for regular sources, plus component video and HDMI for your best-quality sources. Input selection and picture adjustments are pushbutton-easy with the compact backlit remote control. minimize
