Presenting classic performances by the late crooner himself, the 14-track anthology includes well-known tunes such as the lively "Mi Gente" and the swooning, string-tinged "Periodico de Ayer," songs that highlight both Lavoe's clear-as-a-bell voice and the proficiency of his highly rhythmic backing band.
