Corenflos (electric guitar); Aubrey Haynie (fiddle); Tommy Harden (drums). Audio Mixer: Luke Wooten. Liner Note Author: Tracy Byrd. Photographer: David McClister. Leaving the Nashville major label scene for the country indie Blind Mule, Tracy Byrd reasserts his neo-traditionalist roots on the fine DIFFERENT THINGS. No longer as beholden to the whims of Music City fashion, this small-town Texan moves comfortably in the straight country tradition of folks like Clint Black and Randy Travis. When he attempts more rock-influenced tunes such as the sassy "The More I Feel Like Rockin'," the tough outlaw country of Jerry Jeff Walker or Waylon Jennings comes to mind faster than the radio-ready smoothness of the Eagles. Mixing honky-tonk rowdiness with the occasional sweet ballad, DIFFERENT THINGS re-establishes the underrated Tracy Byrd as a modern country power player. The moving "Saltwater Cowboy" is a particular highlight. minimize There are currently no sellers for this product But we can email you when it's available! Send Me an Alert
