Popular Christian rock quintet Third Day has already made a name for itself not just in the world of spiritual-oriented music, but in the halls of modern rock radio. On COME TOGETHER they continue their exploration of their spirituality through the time-tested verities of pop-rock. This band of southern boys has as much in common with Hootie and the Blowfish as they do with any Christian act. The soulful, rootsy vocals, churning, occasionally blues-flecked guitar work, and driving rhythms generate so much energy that it wouldn't matter if these guys were singing about the joys of wall-to-wall carpeting. The fact that Third Day's charismatic approach succeeds at getting their messages about God and belief across to anyone with an ear for a pop hook is uncontestable proof of ther skills as both gospel messengers and pop stars. minimize
