Ritchie, Jr., David Foster, David Malloy. Personnel: Kenny Rogers (vocals, guitar). Kenny Rogers's 20 GREATEST HITS was released in 1983, right about the time that the country-pop singer's lengthy reign as a chart presence was winding down. This makes the album particularly convenient for those who are only interested in the biggest hits. The collection presents a few early tracks recorded with the First Edition, including both "Reuben James" and "Ruby Don't Take Your Love to Town," but the primary focus is on Rogers's simultaneous run on the country and adult-contemporary charts, from 1977's "Lucille" through his duet with Sheena Easton on Bob Seger's "We've Got Tonight." The album is not entirely complete--it doesn't include the Dolly Parton duet "Islands in the Stream" or the First Edition's psychedelic debut "Just Dropped in (To See What Condition My Condition Was In)," but overall, 20 GREATEST HITS is a concise set of country-pop smashes. minimize There are currently no sellers for this product But we can email you when it's available!
