Little Texas hit chart paydirt with the aptly-titled Big Time, which features the number one smash "My Love" along with "What Might Have Been" and "God Blessed Texas." ~ Jason Ankeny BIG TIME was a prophetic title for this young band (all members are in their twenties), as it became their breakthrough album. With the release of the down-home anthemic blowout "God Bless Texas" and its accompanying video featuring the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders at the Southfork Ranch (the set of TV's "Dallas"), this pop country band skyrocketed to superstardom. They followed it with the unabashed love song "My Love," and the thoughtful, nostalgic ballad "What Might Have Been," and their fame was secured. Fronted by lead-singer Brady Seals--who has since left the band--the long-haired Little Texas breezes through pop with the reflective "Love And Learn," R&B with the Motown-ish "Only Thing I'm Sure Of," and yes, even country with the rippling, Nashville-pickin' guitar of "Stop On A Dime." Formerly a bar band, Little Texas still retains much of the enthusiasm that made them so popular in their early club years. minimize
