For the youth of 1980s Philadelphia, The Hooters were local gods among men, occupying an echelon of hometown greatness just one level below Ben Franklin and Phillies slugger Greg Luzinski. Though most City of Brotherly Love natives agree that the band's best album is AMORE (The Hooters' 1983 indie debut), NERVOUS NIGHT is the record that broke The Hooters nationally and made them, albeit briefly, darlings of MTV. The disc includes re-recorded and significantly souped-up versions of a few of AMORE's biggest hits ("All You Zombies," Hanging On A Heartbeat") as well as the radio staple "And We Danced." Sonically, NERVOUS NIGHT's production smoothes out the group's punkish, early Police-esque edge, but also beefs up the vocal harmonies and rhythm section, giving the record a more forceful overall feel. minimize There are currently no sellers for this product But we can email you when it's available!
