I'm very pleased with this...

Strengths: Small size, Configurable by a switch as either an Access point, Router or client mode. Reset button resets only the active mode and other modes. Will run off of USB power source.

Weakness: Configuration requires user to manually set a static IP address on PC. Only 1 ethernet port that switches to either lan or wan functions based on mode. Cables are a little bulky and not retractable.

I'm very pleased with this product. As someone who travels it is very versatile. I can use it as an access point at hotels that don't have wireless in the room, thus freeing me from the desk. I've used the Client Access mode to attach to wireless networks, then plug my Vonage voip phone device into. Then I've got my voip phone even at wireless hotels. The option to power from a USB plug is great...

Weakness: users manual not very informative

This is a cute little thing and it works well too! USB power capabilities are a plus and the equipment seems pretty sturdy for the tiny size. Definitely a winner!

D-Link Wireless-g Pocket Router Review

Strengths: Compact design, easy to set up and strong signal.

Weakness: none so far

D-Link wireless-g pocket router is a much better choice compares to the similar one provided by Netgear. It's easy to set up and the signal is strong with little interference. I think this is really a good buy with proper price.

D-Link Wireless Pocket Router

Strengths: small size. easy setup. can run off a usb port only, so you don't always need the ac adapter.

Weakness: cables would be better if they were retractable, so you wouldn't have so much clutter.

I found this product very easy to install and use. It is small and easy to carry around. Plus it can function as a router, or as a client to connect to existing network. This comes in handy. It comes in a nice carrying zippered case. The only thing i would change, would be to make the cables retractable to reduce clutter.
