The Dell Color Laser Printer 3000cn is the reliable color laser printer at the price of black and white. You won't be sacrificing performance or quality with up to 25 pages per minute in black and white and 5 pages per minute color (actual print speed will vary with use) at a maximum resolution of 600x600 dpi with 2400 image quality. Low toner cost of printing (including drum) at 1.5 cents per page (4K2) in black and white and 12.5 cents per page in color (2K2). Dell Color Track can lower your total cost of printing by offering a separate monochrome print driver that allows you to designate color and/or black and white printing on an individual or workgroup basis. Standard Ethernet 10/100 BaseT networking, USB and parallel port. This printer is pretty good.
Strengths: Fast Fast Fast Fast!
Weakness: WOW! Does this thing ever go thru the toner! Not really a network printer also.
This thing is FAST! BUT, I tried to set it up on my network, and could not. Dell Support could not help me either. What I ended up doing is running CAT-5 from one computer, USB from another, and Paralel from the third. The printer has all those options available, so I used them. Otherwise, it's a nice printer, good quality, but the Ink is rated at 4000 pages, and I'll be lucky to get 1000 pages....
