HP (Hewlett-Packard) tc1100 10.4" Tablet PC -...

Strengths: Very light weight and powerful for small size

Weakness: alittle heavy, but not even close to the weight of a laptop

I bought my Compac TC 1000 off of ebay and have not regretted the purchase one bit. Alot of the comments made trash the TC 1000, but in my experience, I can't leave the thing alone. With a full package of Win XP Tablet and Office, I have a powerful mobile computer I can actually carry "anywhere". I can even download DVD movies on compact flash and watch them on it. Please take my advice, if you...

HP (Hewlett-Packard) tc1100 10.4" Tablet PC -...

Strengths: easy to use, turns on and off quickly, recognizes handwriting well

Weakness: heavy

I really enjoy this product. I wasn't sure how much I would want to have it with me and I have been taking it everywhere.

HP (Hewlett-Packard) tc1100 10.4" Tablet PC -...

Strengths: Lightweight, good battery life, wireless communications is easy to use.

Weakness: I look forward for newer units to have More processing speed.I look forward for future units to have additional processing speed.

The ability to use the pen input is the highpoint of all Tablet PCs. Since the first day, I've used the unit without the keyboard and take the unit everywhere I go.

the only one like it

Strengths: true tablet; detachable keayboard, thoughtful docking station arrangement, "hot" keys and controls, good handwriting recognition, make sure you get One Note to go with it.

Weakness: I lost two hard drives in three years, though they gave me warning and I didn't loose anything. With durable HDs and flash memory imminent - I hope someone resurects this form factor.

This is the only true tablet I can find. If the keyboard has to stay attached - it's a laptop and much of the advantage is gone. Period. I use it every day in the corporate world and find I can remain connected and productive when my laptop-ed coworkers are feeling sheepish about the upright screen (during board meetings) or are lugging around the heavy key-board-based tablets. Buy two, and save...

hp compaq Tablet PC TC1100

A launch price of over 1000-1700 with 260 for the docking station this product though well executed, will stay at business level for a while.
