I switched from Verizon to at&t for the rollover and talking while texting and I have to say that was a bad idea but the phone however is amazing. It hasn't force closed on me like my previous droid 3 always did, also there is no more slide out keyboard and that took a little while to get used to but unlike all the other phones I used, this one is pretty much way more responsive. I get a few typo's still here and there but you can download an app called swiftkey 3 and customize it that over time it learns from your texts and will predict the words you use. The gaming on this phone is every nice because of the dual core processor and the screen definition is on par with my DVD player. I watched netflix while on the train and the 4g really keeps up with the connection. The battery lasted me throughout the whole day with normal use and about 10 hours with occasional texting. To save battery though you have to turn off the wifi and bluetooth if you're not using it as it's constantly searching for somewhere to connect and drains your battery. Also you can enable the power saving option in the settings to help save your battery further. The phone in color is a little lacking for me. When compared to the galaxy note it's carbon blue is actually manly looking and when I look at this phone it's like a bright baby-ish blue that I had to purchase a case for as it feels like I'm holding my girlfriends phone. The front of the phone isn't that bad in that it's darker than the rear and a little bit of a different design. A week after I purchased this I saw it in RED at the store so they have more colors. For those that miss the search button have no fear, if you long press the menu button for 2 seconds it acts as the search key and the physical home button is actually a blessing. When I had the soft keys on the phone I would always put my power key to end calls which also takes the phone of sleep or stand-by. What was horrible about that is if you put the phone to your ear and the sensors bugged out it would keep displaying a black screen and no matter what I pressed except for the power button it would stay black. In those cases where you call somewhere that requires you to enter the keys to get to the next menu you would feel as I felt, very angry to hang up and recall while in speaker and having the dial pad out. Completely suggest this phone for first time users and you won't have to get farmiliar with itunes to upload anything it's much like a usb stick or an external hard drive. Just plug it in and you're set to go.
