This brief compilation has at least two striking tracks, the languid, desperate "Four in the Morning" and the huge, iconic late-'60s hit "Get Together," but it lacks Jerry Corbitt's funky, ragged "Grizzly Bear" and the group's bright California country-rock version of the traditional "Sugar Babe," both of which would have given this sequence a lift. As is, it works as an introduction to this intriguing band only because it doesn't cost much and most folks will be looking for "Get Together" anyway, which is definitely here. ~ Steve Leggett minimize Track ListingAlbum Information
