Omron Hem-637

Strengths: Easy to use unit and quick operation

Weakness: None found yet.

The Omron Hem-637 works as advertised. The unit is easy to handle and operate. The instructions are clear and complete. I use the unit all day to monitor every 2 hours because of an erratic condition. The memory storage feature is really an asset. The APS Advanced Positioning sensor takes a lot of guesswork out of positioning and the begining of a measurement. Compared to an old cuff version this unit seems to meet all claims and is widely available. I selected the unit because my dentist started using one for every patient visit. It worked so well; I was convinced and bought one.

excellent product

Strengths: easy to set-up, easy to use, easy to read

Weakness: none

This blood pressure monitor is a breeze. It is compact, and can be stored anywhere, making it easy to keep nearby. The initial set-up was very simple, and the readout is easy to understand. One of the best features is that the monitor tells you when it is in the correct position, and automatically starts the reading...there is no guess work, and accuracy is assured. I have tested this unit with my doctor's, and also with my parent's monitor, and all gave similar results. I also like having a pulse rate measure, and having memory storage. All in all, an excellent little device, at a reasonable price.

LOVE IT!!!

Strengths: It is very comfortable (I freak out when using the arm cuff kind) and once you know the position that your arm needs to be in, it doesn't time hardly any time to get your results.

Weakness: I wish that it came with a USB cable to attach to the PC for the graphing feature.

This is the best thing since sliced bread! My whole family uses it and we explain to our kids what is a good rate and what can happen when you get a very high reading. It has educated them tremendously about blood pressure. It is so consistent and easy to use!

Great blood pressure monitor

Strengths: Good quality, portable

Weakness: None

I bought Omron 637 compact wrist blood pressure monitor for my parents and it works pretty well. The small size is very portable and my parents can use it during travel. The built-in APS function is a great plus. The monitor is really easy to use without complex operations and the display is easy to read. With two batteries, it lasts for a long time. The accuracy is good compared with the blood monitor in hospital. For the price and quality, this is a great buy.

omron hem-637

Strengths: easy to use - accurate for non-complicated blood pressure readings (see below comments)

Weakness: none found

great for everyday use... may not work well for those who are elderly with poor circulation (didn't work well for my 80 year old mother with difficult to control hypertension - gave low readings)

Compact, portable blood pressure monitor

Strengths: Easy to use, easy to read.

Weakness: Offers no provision for downloading contents of memory.

This is a nifty product, producing results that seem consistent and accurate to me, when checked against a known comparison. I would dearly wish for the ability to download the contents of its memory (containing up to 99 readings) to a computer. So many other medical devices these days seem to have this capability, and it would add immeasurably to the quality of one's own health monitoring program.

Wonderful Product and Easy to use

Strengths: So compact, easy to use

Weakness: None so far

I did the research and found this product to be the best one for me. It is very easy to use. I just found out I have high BP. I can take it anywhere without a lot of wires and attachable equipment. I love it. I am going out of the country and I am happy that it's just the right size to carry along. I like the graphing functionality.

Omron HEM-637 Intellisense Compact Wrist Blood...

Strengths: Reliable. Consistent reading. Use little power. Very user friendly.

Weakness: can't think of one.

A senior friend has the same model for over 4 years, with at least 20 readings per day. It works reliably and gives consistent readings. It has an intuitive user interface, and nice features such as memory and morning/day/evening reading summaries. Also a pair of batteries last a long time. That's why I bought it, and really enjoy it.

OMron HEM-637

Strengths: Compact and easy to use. great storage case easy for travel.

Weakness: Could not find any at this time with the equipment.

Easy to set up and once you get the hang of it as to where to bring it to in auto mode, it's a piece of cake. Readings on 3 diffrenet people were consistent with their doctor readings. Instruction book is long but very thourough.
